The West Columbia Police Department has its own full-time 911 and dispatch center. We have two permanent day-shift dispatchers, two permanent night-shift dispatchers, and two permanent swing-shift dispatchers. They are responsible for handling all emergency and non-emergency calls dispatched to patrol officers.
